Our story on HackerNoon: "I Vibe-Coded a Layer-1 Blockchain to Give Everyone Free AI"

Published:

HackerNoon has published an article by the project's founder about how AIcuNet came to be.

It tells the story from the inside: one developer, heavy AI assistance, and the decisions that shaped the network. In short:

  • AIcuNet is an open-source Layer-1 blockchain under the MIT license, built on the Tera codebase with attribution.
  • The network has been running since 12 July 2026. Mining uses memory-hard proof-of-work and works on ordinary computers — no special hardware.
  • Transactions are designed to be fee-free; smart contracts are written in JavaScript.
  • There was no premine: coins appear only as block rewards.
  • Storage, compute and AI resources (Phases 2 and 3) are plans on the roadmap, not features you can use today.
  • The code has been reviewed in several passes by different AI models; no outside audit firm has certified it yet.
