AIcuNet roadmap

The AIcuNet development map. The network already runs (Phase 1); next come the resource layer, GPU and AI compute, and network expansion. The goal is decentralized AI, a platform for independent applications and an independent space for users. Click a point to see what it is and what it opens.

Phase 1 — the network runs

Works · Phase 1

The network is live — since 12 July 2026

AIcuNet runs as a Layer-1 blockchain on a single public chain. Time is divided into three-second slots, one block per slot. Blocks are mined by CPUs and RAM, with no ASIC required, and transactions carry no fees: a priority mechanism orders them instead of a gas market, and spam goes to the end of the queue.

This is Phase 1 — the base: applications, the resource layer and AI are being built on top of this chain.

Works

Network nodes

Today the launch-phase nodes run in the United States, Thailand, the Netherlands and Switzerland; the map grows with the network.

Works

Web wallet, version 1.2

The wallet works with your own node: accounts, sending and receiving, transaction history, a miner panel and network statistics. The private key stays with you; no one on behalf of the project will ever ask for it.

Works

Security review

The code has been reviewed in multiple passes by different AI models, cross-checked, and hardening fixes have been applied. No outside firm has reviewed the code, and findings are not published.

Website and invitation form

The site you are reading and the invitation form work. The form collects only what is needed to invite you; invited participants are the first to receive the Windows node package.

dApps for developers — in progress

The JavaScript smart-contract engine is already in the network's code, together with a dApp development environment. The network's first application, Miner's Hour — once an hour a random miner receives a bonus, with an equal chance for everyone — has been running on the network since 30 September 2026 in a trial period. Opening the engine to developers is the next task.

App interfaces are stored in the chain itself, and apps can issue their own tokens. This is the project's second goal — a platform for independent applications.

Light wallet for phones — in progress

A light wallet for phones is in progress. Today the wallet works with your own node.

Next step

Windows node package — next step

A Windows node package is being prepared for new participants; invited participants receive it first.

Next step

Open repository and bug-bounty — next step

The code is open under the MIT license: github.com/aicunet/aicunet-core. A public bug-bounty is planned.

Phase 2 — resource layer

Concept · Phase 2

A concept, not a shipped product: nodes contribute storage and light compute. The industry calls networks like this DePIN.

The network becomes a shared resource, not only a ledger of transfers — and the ground for Phase 3.

Opens: App data on network nodes · Contribute from any device

Phase 3 — GPU and AI compute

Concept · Phase 3

A concept, not a shipped product: participants' graphics cards run AI workloads on the same chain.

This is a step towards the project's first goal — decentralized AI.

Opens: AI on the network's compute · AI agents and micropayments

Network expansion

Concept

The network is built to grow: new projects on top of it and, if needed, sharding. A horizon with no dates; details will follow when decisions are made.

What you can build on AIcuNet

What the network lets you build once the needed step is done. These are possibilities, not plans or promises; each one says what it rests on.

Micropayments with no fees

A thank-you to an author, payment for a single action in an app, settling up between participants — these are micropayments with no fees. No fee eats into the amount, however small it is.

What it rests on: fee-free transfers — work today.

Rests on: The network is live — since 12 July 2026

Web3 apps without buying gas

A person presses a button in a Web3 app without first buying a coin to pay for gas, the fee for a transaction. The protocol has no fees by design.

What it rests on: no fees — works today; the dApp engine is in the network's code, in progress.

Rests on: dApps for developers · The network is live — since 12 July 2026

Community tokens: points, passes, membership

A community or an app can issue its own token: points for taking part, a pass to a members-only section, a mark of membership. Community tokens are recorded in the chain and visible to their members.

What it rests on: user-issued tokens — in the network's code; the dApp engine and the network upgrade are in progress.

Votes counted by a smart contract

The rules of a vote are written into a smart contract and visible to everyone, and the contract itself counts the result. What is called a DAO vote is here a contract with transparent rules; casting a vote costs nothing, because there are no fees.

What it rests on: contracts — in the network's code; the network upgrade is in progress; fee-free transactions — work today.

Forums and communities with rules in the chain

Forums, boards and interest clubs whose interface and rules are kept in the chain itself — an independent space for communities. Not a real-time messenger: a block comes every three seconds.

What it rests on: app interfaces stored in the chain — in the network's code; the dApp engine is in progress.

Rests on: dApps for developers

Turn-based on-chain games

The rules of a turn-based game are written into a contract and are the same for every player; each move is a transaction with no fee. These are games and puzzles where the move matters, not reaction speed.

What it rests on: contracts and in-chain interfaces — in the network's code; the dApp engine is in progress.

App data on network nodes

A Phase 2 concept: network nodes keep the data of applications, so the network becomes a place for data as well as for transfers.

What it rests on: Phase 2 — resource layer, a concept.

Contribute from any device

A Phase 2 concept: a phone or a modest computer contributes storage and light compute — you contribute from any device. This is not mining: blocks are still mined by PCs and servers.

What it rests on: Phase 2 — resource layer, a concept.

Rests on: Phase 2 — resource layer

AI on the network's compute

A Phase 3 concept: participants' graphics cards run AI workloads, so AI runs on the network's compute. A shared pool could make AI more affordable for everyone.

What it rests on: Phase 3 — GPU and AI compute, a concept.

Rests on: Phase 3 — GPU and AI compute

AI agents and micropayments

A Phase 3 concept: an AI agent moves small amounts on its own — for data, compute or another agent's service. Micropayments with no fees suit AI agents: the amount is not lost to fees.

What it rests on: fee-free transfers — work today; AI on the network's compute — Phase 3, a concept.

How this page changes

An item gets the status “works” only when it really works, and each such item gets a link to where you can read about it. When the first application runs, it will appear as a point on the Phase 1 ring. The date below shows the last update.
